Name: Sofie Grandell

Experience: Sofie has a degree in BA (HONS) in Horticulture and Agriculture from Bromangymnasiet. She has previously worked on farms, in competition stables, as a vets nurse and at a dog groomers.

About: “I love travelling about and visiting new places, so being on the road as a ZooLab ranger is ideal. I also get the opportunity to spend a couple of days in the office working on ‘behind the scenes’ stuff which is really cool, also.

My favourite animal? Oh - that’s a tough one. Though, if I had to choose, I’d pick my rabbits.”

Interesting Fact: Sofie used to compete in harness racing. Harness racing is a form of horse racing where they usually pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky, occupied by a driver.
